HYDRATING SKINCARE

Hydration That Holds, From Serum to Masque

Thirsty skin does not need more product; it needs the right sequence. A soothing serum, a barrier-supporting moisturiser and a cooling botanical masque, each chosen for a different kind of dry.

HYDRATION, PROPERLY

What actually keeps skin hydrated?

Hydration is a two-part problem: put water into the skin, then stop it escaping. Humectants such as hyaluronic acid excel at the first part, drawing in and holding moisture. Emollient moisturisers handle the second, supporting the barrier that keeps water where it belongs. iS Clinical approaches both with botanicals and bionutrients rather than fillers. Hydra-Cool Serum rejuvenates and visibly soothes while it hydrates, and is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. Daily Dynamic Hydrator folds hydration into a three-in-one anti-ageing step. Moisturising Complex seals everything in, morning or evening. And the Hydra-Intensive Cooling Masque, with botanically sourced hyaluronic acid, is the weekly deep drink for skin that is irritated, sensitive or has simply had too much sun.

THE ORDER OF THINGS

Serum first, then seal it in

Apply hydrating products lightest to richest. A water-light serum such as Hydra-Cool goes on first, straight after cleansing, while skin is still slightly damp. Your moisturiser follows to lock that water behind a supported barrier. Once or twice a week, or whenever skin feels hot, tight or over-exposed, swap the evening routine for a generous layer of the Cooling Masque. Dehydration is a supply problem; dryness is a barrier problem. This order answers both.

Hydration FAQs: serums, masques, moisturisers

Which of these products contains hyaluronic acid?

The Hydra-Intensive Cooling Masque is formulated with botanically sourced hyaluronic acid, perfectly balanced with soothing botanical antioxidants. The serums and moisturiser hydrate through their own blends of botanicals and bionutrients.

Should a hydrating serum go on before or after moisturiser?

Before. Apply the serum to clean, slightly damp skin so it can deliver water, then follow with Moisturising Complex to support the barrier that keeps it there.

What is the difference between dehydrated and dry skin?

Dehydrated skin lacks water and can affect any skin type, even oily. Dry skin lacks oil and barrier strength. Serums answer dehydration; moisturisers and balms answer dryness. Most thirsty skin needs a little of both.

Is Hydra-Cool Serum suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. It is designed for all skin types and ages and is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, with a cooling, calming feel on application.

How often should I use the Hydra-Intensive Cooling Masque?

Use it as a treatment whenever skin feels irritated, tight or sun-stressed; once or twice a week suits most people. It is lightweight enough to use more often after periods in the sun.

Can I layer these with vitamin C or retinol?

Yes. Hydration layers happily under or over actives: many customers use a vitamin C serum in the morning, retinol at night, and keep Hydra-Cool or the masque wherever skin needs calming.

Water in, water kept in
