MINERAL + DAILY SPF
Mineral SPF Your Skin Will Actually Wear
Transparent titanium dioxide and micronised zinc oxide, finished matte. Broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection without the white cast or the greasy afternoon, from face to lips.
PROTECT, DAILY
Choosing a face SPF you will actually wear
The best sunscreen is the one that goes on every single morning, which is why texture matters as much as the number on the tube. Mineral, or physical, sunscreens sit on the skin and deflect light using filters such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, and they have a reputation for chalky white casts. Ours are different: transparent titanium dioxide and micronised zinc oxide in ultra sheer, fast-absorbing formulas with a non-greasy matte finish. Eclipse SPF 50+ and Extreme Protect SPF 40 are all-physical and water-resistant. Extreme Protect SPF 30 is the hybrid of the family, blending microfine zinc oxide with advanced organic filters and extra hydration. And LiProtect SPF 35 covers the part of your face most routines forget: your lips.
The SPF shortlist, from face to lips
Two all-mineral formulas, one comfort-first hybrid, and the lip step that completes the set.
Best for Maximum daily protection, all-mineral
The flagship. Transparent titanium dioxide and micronised zinc oxide at SPF 50+, water-resistant, with a matte finish that disappears on skin. If you want one tube for every day and every holiday, it is this.
Best for All-mineral daily wear
The same all-physical filter pairing and vitamin E as Eclipse, at SPF 40. Choose it if you want mineral-only protection with the identical sheer, non-greasy wear, and 50+ feels like more than your day needs.
Best for SPF that moonlights as skincare
The honest exception on a mineral page: a hybrid of microfine zinc oxide and advanced organic filters, chosen for its hydration and antioxidant support. Pick it when comfort and skin feel decide whether SPF gets worn at all.
Best for Lips, the forgotten step
All-physical, transparent sunscreen actives with vitamin E and coconut oil for the most exposed skin on your face. More than a balm; the SPF step almost every routine is missing.
APPLICATION
The last step of every morning
1. Finish your skincare first: cleanse, treat, moisturise, then SPF as the final layer.
2. Be generous. Most people apply half of what the protection factor assumes.
3. Reapply through extended time outdoors, and take LiProtect with you; lips burn first and complain last.

Mineral sunscreen FAQs
Which iS Clinical sunscreens are 100% mineral?
Eclipse SPF 50+ and Extreme Protect SPF 40 use only physical filters: transparent titanium dioxide and micronised zinc oxide. Extreme Protect SPF 30 is a hybrid, combining microfine zinc oxide with advanced organic filters, and LiProtect SPF 35 uses all-physical actives for lips.
Will a mineral SPF leave a white cast?
These are formulated not to: the titanium dioxide is transparent, the zinc oxide micronised, and the textures ultra sheer with a matte finish. They are designed to disappear rather than sit chalky on the skin.
What is the difference between Eclipse SPF 50+ and Extreme Protect SPF 40?
The same physical filters and vitamin E, the same water-resistant, matte-finish wear. The difference is the protection factor. If you are outdoors for long stretches, take the 50+; for commutes and desks, the 40 is ample.
Is SPF 30 enough for daily use?
For everyday incidental exposure, SPF 30 applied properly is a solid baseline, and Extreme Protect SPF 30 adds hydration and antioxidant support while it protects. For extended outdoor days, step up to SPF 40 or 50+.
Can I wear these under make-up?
Yes. The formulas absorb quickly to a non-greasy matte finish, which makes them a well-behaved base. Let the SPF settle for a minute before foundation.
Do I still need sunscreen if I use vitamin C?
Yes, and the pairing is the point: antioxidants and SPF protect in different, complementary ways. Vitamin C in the morning, sunscreen on top, every day.
Protection is the quiet hero
Every serum result you pay for is preserved, or squandered, by what you do about daylight. Choose your SPF once and let the habit do the rest.
