Pseudoalteromonas

Pseudoalteromonas ferment extract is a marine-derived ingredient produced by fermentation. It acts as a humectant, drawing in and holding moisture so skin feels soft and plump, and it helps reinforce the natural barrier against water loss and environmental stressors. The result is skin that looks smoother, more rested and more resilient.

In the iS Clinical range it is found in Youth Eye Complex, an eye cream for the Treat step. The skin around the eyes is thinner than elsewhere on the face and quick to show dryness, and this formula pairs the marine extract with acetyl octapeptide, hyaluronic acid and centella asiatica to help the area look smoother and less tired.
