Is it normal to feel a tingling or 'icy-hot' sensation during Step 1
Yes. A cool, active tingling sensation is normal and indicates the botanical acids are activating on the skin. This typically subsides within minutes and is neutralized once you apply Step 2. If the sensation is painful or persists after Step 2, rinse with cool water.
Can I use this every night, and do I need to rinse it off?
No rinsing is required for either step. For best results, use every other day, preferably in the evening. If you have sensitive skin, start with 1–2 times per week and gradually increase frequency as your skin builds tolerance.
Do I apply my moisturiser or serum after Step 2
For the most intensive results, iS Clinical recommends applying Step 2 and allowing it to work overnight without adding other products. However, if your skin feels tight, you can apply a simple hydrator like Hydra-Cool Serum or Sheald Recovery Balm after Step 2 has fully absorbed
